We’ve recently launched our ‘Holiday Your Way’ Gift Guide and it has arrived just in time so that you can experience 8 weeks of shopping for all the special people in your life.

The first 2 weeks of gifting are all about those everyday upgrades—romanticizing mundane tasks and making things just a little more glamourous.

The Shake up Salads Collection does just that. What used to be a boring salad lunch can now be a healthy way to get you or your loved ones through the day. What really makes the Shake up Salads Collection a must-have this season, is the Ice Pressed™ Olive Oil.

Epicure, in collaboration with Rallis Olive Oil, brings you a superior ice pressed, organic, unfiltered extra virgin olive oil. Cutting edge “ice pressed” technology is used to make this unique taste and smooth texture.

Curious about this NEW and EXCLUSIVE item? Interested in learning more?

Here’s what you need to know:

What is “ice pressed technology”?

·      Ice Pressed technology means that the olives being used are 20x – 30x colder and because of this temperature, it creates raw olive oil—that actually tastes like olives!

What’s the difference between extra virgin olive oil and regular olive oil?

·      Extra-virgin olive oil is made from pure, cold, or ice-pressed olives. Whereas regular olive oil is a blend, that includes both cold-pressed and processed oils.

Where are the olives from?

·      This olive oil is from Greece and is made with hand-selected, early harvest organic olives.

What does it taste like?

·      Robust flavour with a refreshing peppery bite.

What’s the texture like?

·      Ice pressing produces a smooth textured oil while maintaining maximum nutrient density.

What should I use it for?

·      Use the olive oil as a bread dipper, drizzle on hummus or pizza. Perfect for making marinades or sauces.

 Where should I store it?

·      Store in a cool, dry, dark, place. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight and do not refrigerate. Do not store by the stove or heat extractor fan as the heat can make the oil rancid.

Why is there sediment at the bottom of the bottle?

·      Because oil is unfiltered, sediment will collect at the bottom of the bottle; this is natural.
